YOU NEED A DOMAIN NAME
Every site requires a domain name - www.yourname.com. The cost to have your own domain name can range from about $10 to $30 a year. This is usually purchased at the same time you set up your web sites hosting plan (see below).


YOU NEED A HOSTING PLAN*
Every site requires a hosting service. The average cost to host a standard web site is only about $7 a month. (You will be billed directly by the host company for this service.) We recommend FatCow for purchasing both your domain name and hosting package. (They are a reliable, robust, all-in-one hosting solution and are 100% wind powered!) *Web Host: A company that provides space on a computer/server that is hooked up to the internet 24/7 where all your web files are stored. When your web address, i.e.: www.rlsdesigns.com, is typed into the address bar, servers are accessed and pulls up all these files and pages - which translates into your web site!
